Daisey is a Beagle mix, who was rescued from Yates County Animal Control in December. She is a very gentle Mom, and already housebroken. On January 1, 2010, Daisey gave birth to 8 beautiful female pups. They are all settled now, and ready to find their new homes! Casey - Casey is a 7-year old female Bichon, who was brought in by a Veterinarian from a puppymill, and the mill owner wanted to euthanize her due to her age and not being able to breed her any longer. Instead, she is given another chance at life. Casey needs a quite home, where she can learn how to trust humans. Wallie - (intake date 2/25/10). Wallie is a 2-year old, male, Golden Retriever. He was rescued from Yates County Animal Control back in March. He was adopted, but was returned because the people just did not have time to spend with him. Ziggy - (intake date: 6/30/09). This sweet, senior Lhasa Apso is Ziggy. She spent 10 years in a cage, having litter after litter of babies. She was recently surrendered from an overcrowded breeding facility and is now spayed and ready to retire in a warm, loving forever home. Ziggy is a little shy initially and needs some time to feel safe and secure. As with all of the puppy mill dogs, she is great with other dogs and loves their company. Audra - (intake date: 1/19/10). Audra is a female Chihuahua, who was born on 3/12/08. She was brought to the Shelter by a local vet, because she was a puppymill dog and the mill wanted to put her down due to a possible very treatable medical issue. She is VERY scared and needs a quiet home with someone who has the patience to get her out of her shell.
